We offer a wide range of professional skincare and aftercare products which are provided as prescribed skincare regimes for you to use at home, or in conjunction with in-clinic treatments. They will optimise your healing and maximise the results that we achieve together from aesthetic and anti-ageing treatment programmes.

Here is a list of the product brands that we recommend to our clients, depending on their specific skin requirements. In some cases, a prescription is required.

OBAGI Medical

The Obagi Medical system offers a professional skincare range, some of which must be prescribed to you, just like a medicine, based on assessment of your skin condition. The range includes end-to-end skincare regimes starting with cleansers and toners and moving on to active treatments, followed by moisturisers and sun protection. Obagi Medical products can be used to treat concerns related to ageing, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, acne and rosacea. The Obagi Nu-Derm® system (within the Obagi Medical range) is regarded as the no.1 physician-dispensed skincare range around the world.

AlumierMD

The name for AlumierMD comes from the word ‘illuminate’ and we use this brand of professional skincare products to do just that to your skin. As well as using professional chemical skin peels from AlumierMD in clinic, we also recommend using their at-home skincare products, which are backed by scientific study to achieve clear, bright and beautiful skin. The range includes options for different skin types, ranging from sensitive and dry to normal or combination skin, as well as products aimed at targeting specific conditions including acne, pigmentation, ageing and rosacea, using cleansers, exfoliants, moisturisers, specialty serums, antioxidants, sunscreens and targeted products for the eye area.

The brand also cares about our environment and sustainability which is an ethos that we like very much. Packaging is recyclable, not covered in cellophane, uses natural ingredients with no micro-beads which can be harmful to marine life and their products are not tested on animals.

HydraFacial Homecare

HydraFacial™ provides you with Skin Health for Life™, helping to restore the youthful appearance of your skin, as well as maintaining a health glow to your skin tone and texture. As well as having regular treatments in our clinic to achieve great skin, there is a range of homecare products which accompany the HydraFacial treatment so that you can continue the good work at home.

Examples which may be recommended to you, depending on your skin concerns include: DermaBuilder for anti-ageing, Britenol for pigmentation reduction or Beta HD+ for acne or congested skin, as well as Pur Moist Oil.

NeoStrata

Neostrata is a professional skincare range designed to treat ageing and other skin conditions such as acne and pigmentation using powerful and potent ingredients including alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and poly hydroxy acids (PHAs).

The range includes different systems used to target different concerns and skin types: Skin Active offers advanced anti-ageing for mature skin, Resurface is used to improve skin texture and clarity, Restore for anti-ageing in sensitive skin, Refine for anti-ageing in oily or blemished skin, Enlighten for pigmented skin and Targeted Treatments for intensive treatments for specific concerns like dark under eye circles, age spots and extremely dry skin.

Heliocare

Heliocare is a range of photoprotection skincare products, designed to protect skin from the risks associate with UV (ultraviolet radiation) exposure from the sun, including skin cancer and premature ageing.

The basis for all Heliocare products is Fernblock® technology, which uses a plant extract called polypodium leucotomos. Products are available as topical creams or oral supplements and increase skin protection against sun damage, which is essential for all skin types, but especially useful for those with sensitive skin or who are intolerant to sunshine. Fernblock contains advanced filters and antioxidant ingredients to provide a complete spectrum coverage against UVA, UVB, plus visible and infrared rays. Clinical trials have proven it to be highly effective in preventing photo-ageing, sun or age spots and other sun-related blemishes.

NEWA device

The NEWA device is a hand-held facial skin tightening device designed to be used at home. Based on EndyMed 3Deep radiofrequency energy, it stimulates natural collagen production to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, tighten skin and bring back a more radiant look to your complexion, reducing dull skin. Using NEWA 3-5 times a week for a month, followed by a couple of times a week thereafter should boost your skin, and add to optimal results achieved with our in-clinic treatments.

Skinade Collagen Drink

Skinade is a collagen drink or nutraceutical supplement designed to give you ‘better skin from within’ to address ageing through consumption of a daily beverage.

Flavoured with peach and mangosteen, as well as concentrated grape juice, the enjoyable, daily drink contains a formulation of patent-pending ingredients including hydrolysed marine collagen, organic flax seed oil (omega 3 & 6 fatty acids), Vitamin C, l-lysine an essential amino acid for rebuilding collagen, methylsulfonylmethane (msm) which fights skin ageing and Vitamin B complex. Each bottle also contains only 35 calories.
Skinade does not contain bovine (cow) or porcine (pig) products, hormones, genetically modified organisms, alcohol, added sugar, artificial flavours or artificial colours. It is also free from lactose, gluten and dairy.

Skinade collagen drink aims to boost your body’s natural production of collagen and hyaluronic acid to improve the look and feel of your skin in as little as 30 days.

Radara

Radara is an award-winning, innovative new product in the form of a thin, flexible patch, much like a nicotine or hormone patch. Applying the Radara patch creates micro-channels in the outermost layer of the skin, thanks to microscopic plastic needles which are less than half a millimetre long. These micro-channels allow a highly pure hyaluronic acid serum, applied after removing the patch, to penetrate more deeply than if it were simply applied straight on to the skin. Used as an at-home treatment working alongside wrinkle relaxing in-clinic aesthetic injectable treatments, Radara can improve the skin in the treated areas by stimulating new collagen formation. Radara can target the crow’s feet and under-eye or tear trough areas with specially shaped patches that are applied for a few minutes each day, alongside the serum. Independent clinical trials have shown that there is a 35% reduction in wrinkles after 4 weeks of using Radara, with 71% of those using the patches noticing an improvement in fine lines and wrinkles after only 2 weeks of use.

Dreamweave Mascara

Dreamweave mascara is more than just a mascara. The mascara make-up products also contain serums which are designed to enhance, strengthen and thicken lashes using a peptide formulation to keep them looking healthy and strong.

BiRetix

The BiRetix product range is design to target and treat acne throughout each stage of its development. The range includes cleansers, gels, masks, superficial peeling agents and oral supplements to treat severe acne breakouts and skin blemishes. Including active ingredients such as salicylic acid and botanicals to cleanse and remove acne causing bacteria (p.acnes); the range has a foundation in using advanced vitamin A or retinoid complexes in their RetinSphere® technology to maintain clear, healthy pores to stop white- and black-heads from forming and turning into acne pimples.

Avène

The Avène skincare range is ideal for sensitive skin as it uses clinically proven and soothing thermal spring water in its formulations. Developed and made into skincare products in dermatology laboratories, Avène uses a source of thermal spring water from a mountainous area of the Haut-Languedoc Natural Park in France, which has a low mineral composition, is rich in silica and is pH neutral. The Avène thermal spring water has anti-irritating and soothing qualities, making it ideal for those with sensitive skin or certain dermatological skin conditions.

Clinisept Plus

Clinisept+ is a new approach to skin cleaning and disinfection prior to and post performing aesthetic treatments. Gentle and highly effective, with significant benefits over existing methods used to cleanse the skin of pathogens such as bacteria, viruses and fungi, we use the Clinisept+ Prep & Procedure product in our clinic for both pre- and immediately post-treatment application. This ensures that we reduce the risk of infection down to minimal levels plus aid and optimise healing, with the use of the at-home Clinisept+ Procedure Aftercare product.

Oxygenetix Foundation

Oxygenetix breathable foundation can be applied immediately after aesthetic treatments, even directly onto compromised skin, such as after chemical peeling or laser treatment. It helps to cover redness or bruising, providing an even skin colour, as well as assisting with healing and minimising complications such as scarring.

Designed as a post-procedure foundation, it allows oxygen to reach the skin, unlike conventional make-up foundations, and contains soothing Aloe Vera as well as a Ceravitae complex which increases the oxygen update by the skin for up to 24 hours to enhance healing. The foundation can also be used for hiding pre-existing skin concerns or damage such as pigmentation, rosacea, burns or scars.

Available in a variety of shades, Oxygenetix foundation also contains an SPF25 sunscreen.

Actinica Lotion

Actinica lotion offers broad spectrum protection from the sun’s UV or ultra-violet rays. Developed and made by well-known pharmaceutical company, Galderma, who also make botulinum toxins, dermal fillers and other dermatology formulations, Actinica is regulated as a medical device meaning that it meets the highest levels of UVB and UVA protection against European requirements. It is ideal for those people who are at a higher risk than others of developing skin cancer due to exposure to UV.

It has shown effectiveness in the prevention of non-melanoma skin cancers in a clinical study with a 53% reduction in actinic keratosis lesion and no new invasive squamous cell carcinomas noted in those who used the lotion regularly over two years. It is the first and only medical device to achieve this.

Actinica lotion also contains extra moisturisers and does not contain fragrances so it’s suitable for all skin types and does not irritate.

Genuine Dermaroller (GD) Home Kits

The GD home-care epidermal skin rejuvenation system uses a less invasive version of the in-clinic Genuine Dermaroller™ device (called the HC9). Designed to be used at home, two or threes times a week, and as directed by our skincare specialists, it will stimulate the epidermis of your skin using the very short needles (0.2mm) to assist with the penetration of skincare products which have been recommended to support your skincare regime and in-clinic treatment programme.

KELO-COTE Gel

KELO-COTE is a clinically proven gel which is used to help smooth raised scars, known as keloid scars. Such scarring could be a result of an operation, such as a C-section during childbirth or from general or plastic surgery, or a result of accident or trauma to the skin. Some people are also more prone to keloid scar formation than others from every day knocks.

KELO-COTE aims to improve the appearance of keloid scarring, it cannot guarantee to make them completely disappear as every scar is different, however it will soften and flatten scarring, reduce redness, relieve itching and discomfort associated with the scar and will work on both old and new scars.

Mirvaso Gel (prescribed)

Mirvaso is a prescription only topical gel which is used for the treatment of ‘persistent facial erythema’ or ‘facial redness’ caused by rosacea. It is also made by the pharmaceutical company Galderma. The gel, which is applied to the skin, contains the active ingredient brimonidine (3.3mg/g in the tube) which is a substance that belongs to a group of medicines called ‘alpha agonists’ which constrict blood vessels. Facial redness due to rosacea is caused by enlarged or dilated small blood vessels in the skin which allow large amounts of blood to flow around the skin. Mirvaso works by narrowing these blood vessels to reduce the extra blood flow and reduce the redness. It must be prescribed to you following a face-to-face consultation and diagnosis with our prescribing nurse or doctor.
