We have had our HydraFacial since June 2015 and it is still one of our most popular skincare treatments. Here at Aesthetic Solutions, we have two professional medical aestheticians who do our HydraFacials, and concentrate on making sure you get the best treatment possible.

Our medical aesthetician’s favourite stage of the HydraFacial is the exfoliation stage seeing the machine remove all of the oldest dead skin cells on the skin's outermost surface, to reveal new, healthy skin in order to go onto the extraction stage. Her favourite thing about the HydraFacial is that it gives people that holiday glow without having to tan in the sun causing sun damage, you get to unwind with the benefit of a healthy new glow.
The treatment combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection simultaneously, for healthy, clear and revitalised skin with no discomfort or downtime. Your treatment begins with Lymphatic Drainage, which helps to increase circulation of the lymphatic system.
This increases blood flow to the area, bringing oxygen to support the cells whilst also bringing fresh clean lymph to restore hydration, tone and firm the skin, and eliminate toxins.
Dead skin cells are gently exfoliated to reveal healthy, new skin whilst, simultaneously, a serum containing lactic acid, glucosamine and many botanical extracts is delivered deeply to cleanse and nourish the skin.
This gentle glycolic and salicylic salutation helps loosen debris from your pores ready for the extraction stage whilst brightening the appearance of the skin.
The Vortex-extraction nozzle acts as a vacuum to clear out your pores. Helping to remove blackheads and draw out impurities in congested areas using a serum of natural salicylic acid and honey extract.
At this stage additional serums can be added to target specific concerns.
HydraFacial Vortex - Fusion technology delivers a cocktail of hydrating hyaluronic acid and the most advanced and multi-peptides to replenish the skin, leaving it hydrated, plumped up and at optimum skin health.
Using our Deese LED Mask - Our therapist will place the mask on your face for 20 minutes. With calm music in the background you can relax and drift off.
Finally, your therapist will advise which HydraFacial Home Care products will be suited to your skin type - which are great to use in-between treatments.

No. It is a non-envasive treatment, however it can feel mildly scratchy due to the resurfacing of the skin. Your skin can feel warm, and tingly due to acids being used. It does depend on the client’s skin type and condition, the practitioner will choose the pressure and the suction to be used on the client.
There is an instant glow that you see straight after your treatment. Skin appears cleaner and fresher. The HydraFacial is meant to be a regular treatment, therefore you do see results after the first treatment however you would want to continue treatments to enhance results because it takes the bad things out of your skin, and puts nutrients in your skin, skin improving over time, the more you look after your skin in between the HydraFacial treatments, the better the results will be, that is why HydraFacial’s motto is skin health for life.
It is a mechanical treatment which means that it is more effective about getting deeper into the skin, therefore being able to remove more impurities, and debry from the skin due to the suction property. Normally facials are more effective at putting things in the skin than taking things out, this hydrafacial does both. It also uses key ingredients such as salic and glycolic acids, antioxidents.
Also what is amazing about this facial is the red and blue lights which are attached - the red light producing collagen synthesis, and the blue light providing an anti-bacterial element.
We book an average appointment for 1 hour and 15 minutes but the actual treatment takes 45 minutes, depending on the additional treatment that the client wants and/or requires, we try our best to taylor to your skin type.
There are homecare products which the therapist recommends after the treatment which can be used at home inbetween treatments to retain that glow, which are amazing due to the fact they contain the same chemicals in them as the treatment itself, so the benefit to the skin continue’s. If you have some specialist needs you can make an appointment with our head nurse who can talk to you about a range of products which she can prescribe for specific problems/aim.

It truly depends on your skin type and how many times you want it, it is an on-going treatment therefore if you want that glow you would be advised to have it every 4-6 weeks for a course of 5 or 6 treatments. But that doesn’t stop you having more, the hydrafacial gives skin the nutrients it needs, taking the impurities out of the skin. For acne patients the practitioner will recommend that you need one ever 2 weeks to clear the skin, and once the skin has started to clear then you would be advised to have one every 4-6 to keep it at bay.
